Mr. Matin Amjad

Mr. Matin Amjad is a seasoned business leader with over two decades of diverse industrial and corporate experience. He has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Biafo Industries Limited effective 1 July 2026. Mr. Amjad holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Economics from the London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE) and has attended executive education programmes at Oxford University, UK, and INSEAD, France. He began his professional career in 1998 with ICI Pakistan Limited (then part of ICI Plc, UK, and subsequently AkzoNobel), where he gained extensive experience across commercial, supply chain, strategy, and operational functions.
His career spans multiple industrial sectors, including
pharmaceuticals, animal healthcare, paints, chemicals, polyester fibres, and soda ash.
Prior to joining Biafo Industries Limited, Mr. Amjad served as the Chief Executive Officer of
Pakistan Oxygen Limited. His broad leadership experience in manufacturing, business
transformation, operational excellence, and stakeholder management.
